本種は北海道と本州の山地に分布する。7～8月にミズナラの葉に見られる。前胸背板の後縁刺毛を6対持つことで、本属の中では特徴的である。前胸背板後縁のS4、S6刺毛は発達する。オスは未知。

This species is distributed in the mountainous areas of Hokkaido and Honshu. In July to August, it occurs on the leaves of Quercus mongolica. In peculiar, it has the pronotum with six pairs of posteromarginal setae, of which S4 and S6 setae are developed. Male is unknown.
