本種は北海道、本州の山地に分布する。7～8月にミズナラの葉に見られる。前胸背板の後縁刺毛を6対持つことで、本属の中では特徴的である。前胸背板後縁のS4、S6刺毛は発達する。オスは未知。

This species is distributed into a mountainous areas of Hokkaido and Honshu in Japan. In July to August, it occurs on the leaves of Quercus mongolica. It peculiarly has the pronotum with six pairs of posteromarginal setae, S4 and S6 are developed. Male is unknown.
